Prof. Dr. Nguyen An Lich - former leader of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vice Chairman of the Philosophy Association; on the side of the University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Principal and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thien Thanh - Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel. On the side of the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Philosophy Association, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Standing Member of the Philosophy Association, Head of the Faculty of Philosophy, Head of the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Association; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi My - former Standing Member of the City Party Committee, former Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Political Program of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, and 56 branch members who are cadres with expertise in Philosophy in the University.

The Congress approved the Report on the situation of teaching and researching Philosophy at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the direction and plan of activities of the Association for the 2021-2026 term. The report emphasized the advantages and difficulties in teaching and researching Philosophy at the University; at the same time, it recognized the achievements in political and ideological work, in teaching, research, and in social and charitable work. During the 2021-2026 term, the Philosophy Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU focuses on the key tasks of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members; supporting members in their professional activities, improving the quality and effectiveness of Philosophy research and teaching through training programs, professional exchange seminars, scientific workshops; developing members in large numbers and strong in quality. In particular, training and supporting members in teaching and scientific research is given top priority with many specific plans and solutions.

School leaders representative presented flowers to congratulate the Philosophy Association and Philosophy Branch.

Contributing to the Report and directions and plans for the Association's activities in the 2021-2026 term, members made many suggestions on professional training activities and scientific exchange cooperation between Associations, thereby making recommendations and policy proposals to the Philosophy Association and higher management levels.

Speaking at the Congress, Prof. Dr. Le Huu Nghia - Chairman of the Philosophy Association emphasized that, besides scientific research, training is a strength of Hanoi National University, therefore, in the activities of the Association, it is necessary to combine research and training smoothly to further promote this strength. The Professor also believes that, with a long tradition, with a large number of members and strong quality, the Philosophy Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU will be a strong association, leading the Association's movements and completing the goals set for the term. On behalf of the University Board of Directors, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh thanked the attention and close guidance of the Philosophy Association's Board of Directors for the establishment of the Philosophy Association at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and believed that the establishment of the Philosophy Association at the University would be a new driving force, a bridge contributing significantly to the development of Philosophy in both research and training at the University in particular, and at Vietnam National University, Hanoi in general.

With a high sense of responsibility and promoting the spirit of democracy, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2021-2026 term, consisting of 5 comrades: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Head of the Faculty of Philosophy, Standing Member of the Philosophy Association: Chairman of the Association; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Hao - Head of the Department of History of Philosophy: Vice Chairman of the Association; Dr. Tran Thi Dieu - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Philosophy: Vice Chairman of the Association; Dr. Pham Hoang Giang - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Philosophy: Member, Dr. Mai K Da - Lecturer of the Faculty of Philosophy: Member.
