Public Relations is one of the hottest professions in terms of recruitment demand in recent years in the world as well as in Vietnam. The Faculty of Journalism and Communication is one of the first places to research and teach PR in Vietnam (since 2001). Hundreds of alumni of the Faculty are currently holding high positions in the PR field. With 50 targets for the 2013 enrollment season, for the first time, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication enrolls students to train bachelors in Public Relations, in addition to Journalism.

2. Training objectives
The undergraduate program in Public Relations trains bachelors with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to carry out activities to build, maintain, and develop the image and two-way relationships between agencies, organizations, businesses, etc. with their target public groups through providing and exchanging information in a correct, accurate, and honest manner; having the ability to research and teach on public relations issues at businesses, higher education institutions, research institutions, etc. After the course, students have the capacity to work in public relations in government agencies, non-governmental agencies, media agencies, businesses, companies providing professional public relations services, political and social organizations, etc., and have the ability to continue studying, participate in higher education, and accumulate experience to become leaders and experts in the field of public relations.
