The main research method of the thesis is qualitative combined with quantitative. Collecting research data by using questionnaires and interviews with domestic and international tourists, businesses operating in the tourism sector to evaluate factors affecting sustainable tourism development in Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.
The research results analyzed the sustainable development of Van Don district tourism around the following contents: (1) Tourists; (2) Technical facilities for tourism; (3) Total revenue from tourists; (4) Contribution of tourism to the district's GRDP; (5) Human resources in the tourism industry of Van Don district; (6) Investment policies for tourism development. From the above analysis, the author discusses the research results and proposes solutions to contribute to the sustainable development of Van Don district tourism by 2030.
