2. Training objectives
To train students with solid political and ideological qualities, discipline, professional ethics, a sense of serving the country and the people, good health, basic knowledge of social sciences and humanities, and specialized knowledge of Japanese studies. To equip students with a system of basic knowledge about Japan, solid Japanese language skills, and necessary skills in one of two directions: research-training and practice-application. On that basis, students have the ability to independently handle problems in assigned work related to Japan; have the initiative to seek and develop new knowledge, have the ability to continue studying at a higher level, and be confident in international communication.
