Functions and tasks

• Consulting on planning orientation, long-term, medium-term and annual science and technology development strategies for the Principal and School Board.
• Guide departments, institutes and research centers (hereinafter referred to as units) to develop specific annual scientific activity plans and medium- and long-term plans.
• Consulting and guiding units, research groups, and scientists to participate in proposing, developing explanations, and bidding for programs, projects, and research topics at all levels as well as projects and topics ordered by ministries, localities, and businesses.
• Consulting, guiding and participating in organizing scientific seminars/workshops for staff, postgraduate students and students of the School and faculties in the School.
• Consulting and guiding staff, postgraduate students and students to register for science and technology awards.
• Organize statistics and communication on science and technology work of the School and other units in the School.
