On December 29, 2023, the Scientific Workshop “Types of boats and methods of using boats in Vietnamese history” organized by the Asia Maritime and Trade Research Group, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in collaboration with the Vietnam Historical Science Association took place. On December 6, 2023, at the Youth Theater, Hanoi, the Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Art held an Award Ceremony for works of theory and criticism of literature and art published in 2022. Accordingly, Prof. Dr. Le Van Lan (pen name Ma Giang Lan), former Head of the Department of Modern Vietnamese Literature, Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, was honored to receive the Award.

The new research results were announced by scientists from the Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi at the international seminar on "Indicator framework for sustainable communities towards socio-ecological transition: Case study in Vietnam" held on the morning of November 29, 2023.

On October 6, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU – USSH) had a working session with the Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam within the framework of educational cooperation and organized a seminar on “Economic transformation in Ireland”.

Recently, representatives of the Fulbright Vietnam Scholar Program had a working session with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU to attract lecturers to participate in the exchange program on teaching and research in the United States.
