In fact, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities currently has almost all fields of research and training in social sciences and humanities, with a team of leading experts in the country. In particular, recently, the School has initially implemented a number of psychological counseling and social support activities at different levels to support the community with more knowledge, skills, confidence, and motivation to get through the difficult days of the pandemic, while also preparing for the years after the pandemic. The School's Trade Union coordinated with the Trade Union of the Faculty of Psychology to organize an open forum "Balance your mind and reduce stress during the epidemic season" with the content shared and advised by psychological experts on how to stabilize life during the period when Hanoi capital implements social distancing in the city. In the near future, contributing to the implementation of "national responsibility" with Hanoi National University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has planned to implement "Free online psychological counseling and social support program” for the community through the School’s Psychological and Social Counseling Hotline. In the immediate future, the Program focuses on two key areas: “psychological counseling” and “inclusive basic social service counseling”. In the long term, the School will expand specialized counseling activities to support other areas in recovering and developing in the post-pandemic period.
