In recent years, VNU, as well as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, has had many different scholarship policies, including state budget and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, to encourage students' learning spirit and support poor students who have overcome difficulties to achieve excellent academic results. However, according to current state regulations, scholarships from the budget are only for students who are studying and have high achievements. Meanwhile, basic science majors have difficulty enrolling students and are currently enrolled in few students. Therefore, it is necessary to have policies to attract good students to enroll in basic science majors, thereby affirming the brand of training high-quality human resources of VNU in general.
