Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Thach - Secretary of the Party Committee of the University; Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Principal of the University; Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Principal of the University. In particular, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Permanent Vice President of VNU sent congratulations and encouragement to the new graduates at the ceremony.
The 2020-2021 school year was a year of many storms and challenges for students, especially final year students, in completing their training program, writing and defending their theses.
Nguyen Thi Hue, valedictorian of the Sociology Department, shared: “After today, I will become a new graduate. I feel a bit choked up, with beautiful memories of 4 years of university flooding back. I want to hold on to this moment forever, not wanting it to pass by.” Nguyen Ngoc Linh, a new graduate of Journalism, shared her feelings: “I still have the ticket for the program “First flight - welcoming new students of K62” from 4 years ago. And now the day has come for this youthful flight to land.”
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Principal of the School shared with the new graduates: “The teachers of the School are very proud of you - the special graduates. "Fire tests gold, hardship tests strength", sometimes in the recent context, there may be a little worry, a little negative thinking. However, this is the time for you to push forward, raise your spirit and positive thinking to move forward in life. I hope you will "have strong legs and soft stones", not afraid to take steps for the future ahead".
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Thach - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Headquarters sent a message: “I would like to congratulate you on completing your studies and graduating from university. Your results today are the most meaningful gift to your parents and families, who have sacrificed and supported you wholeheartedly. Please carry with you the spirit of “Humanity”, the thirst for knowledge without boundaries and step into life. “Knock on the door and it will open, seek and you will find” - please keep the faith, keep the determination and you will receive success.
