Amidst the scorching hot days or the storms at the end of August 2022, the learning content was difficult, especially for female students, but the enthusiastic spirit of the students and the enthusiastic guidance of the teachers were always the most visible things. And overcoming the harsh weather of unpredictable rain and sunshine, affecting the training time on the training ground, 1,415 students completed their tasks and successfully finished the course.
In his closing speech, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Ha emphasized: Courses 66, 70, 71 of National Defense and Security Education (with 1,404 students, University of Foreign Languages: 162 students; University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 1,242 students) took place in erratic weather conditions (hot sun, thunderstorms), large numbers of students (including students from University of Foreign Languages and University of Social Sciences and Humanities), and most of the students were female. However, overcoming all these difficulties, 100% of the students participating in the course were well prepared in all aspects to seriously implement the course plan, strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Center, and strictly implement the regimes during the day and week. 100% of the students strictly followed the discipline and regulations of the subject, and the unit was absolutely safe. There were no students who violated discipline and had to be handled. The students all tried hard to overcome all difficulties, strived to fulfill the requirements of the Center's learning and training conditions, and quickly adapted to the living routine and training schedule.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal) congratulated all the students for successfully completing the course, safely and having many beautiful memories in 15 days together. It can be said that this is an activity that gathers students, accommodation, living and studying National Defense and Security in large numbers after the Coivid-19 pandemic, so the School cannot help but worry. However, after witnessing the training process, the maturity of the students as well as the results recorded in the course summary report, the teachers were really happy, because the students showed that the students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities not only study good professional knowledge, are dynamic, modern, and humane, but are also very disciplined, serious and have a spirit of solidarity, love, and help each other to complete the task. Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong also expressed her sincere thanks for the support and thoughtful facilitation in all aspects of the Center, the dedicated guidance, instruction and encouragement of the teachers and lecturers wearing the green uniforms. With a high sense of responsibility and dedication to all beloved students, the students of the School have had successful and memorable days of study and training.
Also at the ceremony, 02 groups and 20 students were awarded certificates of merit for their excellent achievements in completing courses 66, 70, 71 of National Defense and Security Education (of which the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 18/20 students).
In her speech, Chau Giang shared: with 15 days of studying at the Center, although not long, we have understood to some extent the life of soldiers in the Vietnam People's Army, experienced what "military discipline" is. In a collective living environment, studying, practicing, and living together has helped each student become more mature and live responsibly towards themselves and their teammates, thereby contributing to creating more solidarity, friendship, and sharing. Moreover, through this, we also fostered more love for our homeland, country, and awareness of protecting the Fatherland. 15 days of training not only helped us students accumulate a lot of knowledge about military and politics; but more importantly, it was a fundamental change in awareness, attitude, and responsibility towards ourselves and the collective, marking the maturity of each student.
The course ended with a jubilant Gala night. With 15 companies, 15 outstanding performances were staged in just under a week, taking advantage of the break from training on the training ground until bedtime. But everything was perfect, the students burned themselves out with the vibrant mashups of Appointment with Spring, Youth Dance, Kalinka folk dance,... or were moved by the performances recreating the heroic past of the nation with the profound and tragic musical, through the performance Mother's Legend (praising the heroic Vietnamese Mother); the song "Cuc oi" (praising the 10 girls at Dong Loc crossroads) and the heroic spirit with "Wake up and go", "Vietnamese hearts", when "The Fatherland calls my name"...
