Prof. Dr. Phung Huu Phu, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, former Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, former Secretary of the Party Committee of VNU, former Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Chairman of the Scientific Training Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was honored as one of the ten Outstanding Capital Citizens.

Today, October 7, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Professor Klaus Schwab visited VNU and interacted with students on the topic of Positioning Vietnam in the smart era - Vision for the young generation at Nguyen Van Dao Hall.
