Hanoi National University turns 65 this year. For me, this is a very meaningful event, because in 1983-1984, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work at this prestigious university with wonderful Vietnamese colleagues. I will always remember that I was not only a lecturer from Kazan University (Soviet Union) on secondment, but also a “family member”, a member of the Hanoi National University family.
