On November 5, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the Faculty of Anthropology will host a talk show introducing the book series “Global Vietnam: Across Time, Space and Community” and how to publish with Springer. The speaker of the sharing session is Ms. Alex Westcott Campbell, Senior Editor of Springer Publishing House.

On November 4, 2023, in the autumn weather of Hanoi, the Faculty of Anthropology solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the new school year and awarded the Phan Huu Dat Prize to 11 students and graduate students with outstanding achievements in studying and union work.

Ten female lecturers and researchers will be selected to participate in a two-day exchange and experience sharing session on scientific publication in peer-reviewed international journals.

The project will provide a support fund for members with young children (1 million VND/member/month, for at least 2 months) to help promote female lecturers and researchers to proactively and actively participate in and complete the activities of the seminar.

The Faculty of Anthropology was established in 2015 on the basis of the Department of Anthropology of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. The history of establishment, development and transformation of the Faculty in recent decades is a process of development and transformation from Ethnology as a major of Historical science to Anthropology as a basic science with particularly profound theoretical and practical aspects.
