Ministry of Education and Training issues regulations on teachers' ethics

According toRegulations on teacher ethicsJust issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, teachers must be fair in teaching and education, correctly assess the actual capacity of learners; not cause difficulties or troubles for learners and the people.

When performing duties, teachers need to wear simple, neat, polite clothing and jewelry, suitable for the teaching profession, not causing offense or distracting the attention of students.

In addition, teachers must not oppress, oppress, or have biased, discriminatory, or prejudiced attitudes toward students; must not assist or cover up negative behaviors in teaching, learning, and training of students and colleagues; must not physically violate or insult the honor and dignity of students, colleagues, and others.

The document also clearly states: teachers are not allowed to organize extra teaching and learning contrary to regulations; do not smoke, drink alcohol or beer in the office or at school; do not use mobile phones or do personal work in meetings, while in class, studying, invigilating or grading exams.
