This year, 959 candidates registered for 26 graduate training majors and 17 doctoral research majors. After two admission rounds, 566 candidates were admitted to graduate programs, 51 candidates were admitted to doctoral programs, including 137 graduate students transferred from bachelor's degrees, 03 doctoral students transferred from bachelor's degrees and 03 doctoral students transferred from master's degrees.
At the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Lam Ba Nam - Vice Principal - introduced to the students the situation of postgraduate training, the major orientations of the School in teaching and postgraduate training in the coming time. Accordingly, since 2007, the School has begun implementing the postgraduate credit-based training roadmap. Up to now, a large amount of work required by the credit-based training process has basically been completed: converting 26 graduate programs, 29 doctoral programs, compiling nearly 1,000 course outlines, building academic regulations...
In addition, the expansion of training cooperation with many universities and research institutes at home and abroad has also been focused on in recent years. Since 2007, with the cooperation of Toulouse le Mirail University (France), the Francophone University Organization, two international training cooperation majors on Master of Organizational Management and Master of Child and Adolescent Development Psychology have been implemented. In addition, the school has also opened a new training major for Master of Hotel Management in cooperation with Accor Hotel Group (France) - a training model combining schools and businesses in training high-quality human resources, meeting the practical needs of society.
With the approval of VNU, the University is also enrolling and training in majors and specialties that meet international standards such as Master of Vietnamese History and PhD in Vietnamese History. To further promote the achievements that have been achieved, the University needs the efforts and enthusiasm in studying and building the University from postgraduate students as mature, intelligent and creative learners.
After the opening ceremony, from December 1, 2008, graduate students will begin studying Philosophy in general classes.
