The school's units continue to synchronously deploy the tasks of the 2009-2010 school year, completing the key work plan in April 2010 on schedule, in which, special attention should be paid to the following tasks:

1. Party work, organization, propaganda, and unions

- Organize the Congress of Party cells, prepare to organize the 26th Party Congress of the University; - Complete the Board of Directors, the Scientific and Training Council of the International Studies, Philosophy and Anthropology Departments; - Introduce and appoint the heads of the Tourism and Literature departments for the 2010-2015 term; - Organize a delegation of cadres to study university administration in Korea; - Develop a program to innovate management and improve the quality of university training according to the government's direction.

2. Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection

- Schedule the second semester exam for the 2009-2010 school year; - Continue working on university training with units; - Evaluate 3 years of organizing university training based on credits and goals and solutions for the 2010-2012 period: - Continue to implement university admissions in 2010: - Organize grading and announce the first round of postgraduate entrance exams in 2010: - Consider graduation to grant master's degrees in the second round for students of the 2006 course.

3. Scientific research and international cooperation

- Prepare to organize a school-level student scientific conference; - Organize a workshop on "Creating socio-economic activities to serve local sustainable development"; - Sign a contract for a scientific research project in 2010; - Agreement on cooperation on the Public Relations and International Relations program with the University of South Australia;

4. Administrative, management and financial work

- Prepare to organize the Conference of key staff for the 2009-2010 school year; - Make a plan for the allocation and use of the first phase of the 2010 state budget; - Report on the budget settlement and personal income tax for 2009; - Collect tuition fees for the second semester of the 2009-2010 school year; - Prepare to increase the salary for all staff of the school according to the new salary level.

5. Units immediately carry out some tasks

- Party cells complete the organization of Party cell congresses in April 2010. - Heads of affiliated faculties/departments: + Proactively propose a list of staff recruitment, report to the Board of Directors through the Personnel Organization Department; + Pay attention to urging and organizing student scientific conferences; + Strengthen management and monitoring of training work (training schedule, deadline for reporting mid-term and final grades, tuition fees, etc.) + Coordinate with functional departments and offices to do a good job of propaganda and admissions consulting; - Training Department and Postgraduate Training Department: + Make plans and guide units to compile electronic documents; + Promote the development of a number of international-standard training majors/specialties and dual majors; + Contact functional departments of VNU to open major codes for a number of majors/specialties under the Faculty of Oriental Studies; - The Department of Politics - Student Affairs promptly completes the employment data of graduated students to serve the three public reports; - The Department of Administration - Management does a good job of organizing the Conference of key school officials at the end of May 2010. The leaders of the departments and offices prepare detailed reports on the implementation of the work in the 2009-2010 school year, the plan for the 2010-2011 school year and submit them to the Department of Administration - Management before April 15, 2010. - The Department of Planning - Finance balances revenue sources, makes plans to increase salaries for all school officials according to the new salary level from May 1, 2010. - The functional departments and units in the school must strictly comply with the regulations of the Management Decentralization in receiving, processing and reporting to the Board of Directors official dispatches from the units. - The Center for Journalism - Communication needs to further innovate the content of the school's website. The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Training Cooperation, Politics and Student Affairs, Scientific Research Management and other units in the school proactively coordinate to provide information for website development. Units that need to set up their own website must submit a written report to the Board of Directors.
