On the morning of March 16, 2011, staff of the two faculties of International Studies, Archives and QTVP had a training session on quality assessment of training programs under the guidance of Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Doan Dai (Quality Assurance Institute - VNU). Attending the session was Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the school. The quality assessment of training programs aims to provide an overview of opinions on training programs, assess the adaptability of training programs to the current labor market, help schools achieve their goals well and at the same time evaluate whether current training programs meet the goals set by the school or not. Thanks to the quality assessment of training programs, the unit will fulfill its responsibility to society on issues related to its affiliated training majors, which will help information circulate fully in two directions. According to the set of standards for quality assessment of training programs of VNU, the quality assessment process of training programs includes five steps: Before collecting evidence; Implementing the collection of evidence; Researching and analyzing evidence; Writing self-assessment reports; Synthesizing self-assessment results. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Doan Dai, the purpose of training program quality assessment is not to report but to clearly see the current situation of the training unit, in order to perfect and further improve the quality of the training system.
