1. Purpose of the Workshop:- Clarifying theoretical and practical issues on culture, ethnicity and religion in the context of development, modernization and international integration in Vietnam today.
- Assess the current situation, changing trends and impacts of development policies on the fields of culture, ethnicity and religion; identify opportunities and challenges.
- Share practical experiences, scientific research results and propose policy solutions to promote the role of culture, strengthen national solidarity, ensure freedom of belief and religion, and contribute to building a sustainable and harmonious Vietnamese society.
- Create an academic forum connecting scientists, managers and social activists in the fields of culture - ethnicity - religion to exchange academic knowledge and contribute advice for policy making and sustainable development of the country.
The Organizing Committee of the conference hopes that through this academic activity, it will be an opportunity to honor the historical, cultural and social values and achievements of the Vietnamese people over the past 80 years. Create a forum for academic exchange, connecting domestic and international researchers to promote interdisciplinary scientific research cooperation. Contribute to promoting the image of a dynamic, innovative and ready-to-integrate Vietnam.

3. Content of the WorkshopThe workshop focuses on the following main contents:
- Cultural characteristics, cultural exchange and cultural changes in the current trend of national development and international integration; issues of cultural activities, cultural behavior, family relationships, marriage... in contemporary cultural life.
- Cultural resources and assets in sustainable national development; Culture associated with tourism development and regional and local economy.
- Cultural and creative industries in new development trends.
- Ethnicity, ethnic relations, policies and practices of implementing ethnic policies in the trend of national development and international integration.
- Impact of social change on stability and development of ethnic minority areas.
- Characteristics, values, and resources of ethnic groups in the country's development strategy, integration, and sustainable cultural development of ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
- Religion and changes in today's life; the trend of religious incarnation in the context of contemporary society.
- The relationship between the state and religion, promoting the role of religion in the cause of national protection and development.
4. Writing rules
a. Deadline for receiving abstracts and full articles- Deadline for name registration and article abstract submission:
until June 15, 2025;- Deadline for receiving full text articles:
until July 15, 2025.
b. Subjects participating in writing the article- Scientist, researcher, lecturer and postgraduate student of University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
- Experts, scientists, managers, teachers and everyone interested in the topic of the Workshop.
c) How to submit articles- The full text article file is named: author name_article name.docx;
- Writing language: Vietnamese; English
- The article is typed on one side of A4 paper (210 x 297 mm), Times New Roman (Unicode) font, size 13, left margin 3 cm, right margin 2 cm, top margin 2.5 cm, bottom margin 2.5 cm (including images), line spacing 1.5 lines;
- Articles sent to the Organizing Committee include: Title; Author/author group name; Summary (about 150-200 words); Keywords (3-5 words); Article content (no more than 8000 words); References; Author information (full name, work unit, phone number, email, contact address);
Documents are arranged alphabetically.

- Articles submitted to the Conference must not have been published in other Books, Journals and Conference Proceedings. Articles will be checked for data duplication according to the regulations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and evaluated through an independent review process by reputable experts and scientists.
- Qualified articles will be selected to report at the Conference and printed in the proceedings.
The conference has an ISBN index, expected to be published in June 2026 at Hanoi National University Publishing House.
