27 teachers were awarded the title of People's Teacher and Meritorious Teacher in 2008.

On November 17, 2008, the President signed the Decision to confer the title of People's Teacher and Excellent Teacher in 2008 on 78 outstanding teachers of VNU. Of which, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 16 Excellent Teachers and 11 People's Teachers.
