Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony, on behalf of AEON Group and AEON 1% Club Scholarship Fund, there were Ms. Sasai Kakou (Deputy Chief Representative of JETRO Office in Vietnam), Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam), Mr. Ishikawa Tadahiko (Director of Hanoi Area, AEON Vietnam Company), Mr. Yamamura Naohiro (Director of Hanoi Branch, AEON Delight Vietnam Company), Mr. Honda Yosei (Secretary General of AEON 1% Club). On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University).
As part of the official cooperation agreement with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since 2012, this is the 6th consecutive year that AEON Group has awarded scholarships to the University’s students. Each scholarship is worth 290 USD.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Honda Yosei (Secretary General of AEON 1% Club) said that the goal of the scholarship is to support students in their study, scientific research and exchange activities with Vietnamese students. Thereby further strengthening the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam) shared with students about AEON Group, AEONMALL Vietnam, as well as the philosophy that the Group and the Company are pursuing and the requirements for high-quality human resources.
At the ceremony, Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude to AEON Group for choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to award scholarships to help students gain more motivation in studying and training. Vice President Hoang Anh Tuan hopes that the Scholarship Fund in particular and AEON Group in general will continue to pay attention to implementing more cooperation activities between the two units in the coming time.
AEON Group awarded scholarships to students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Foreign Trade University. Representing the students receiving the scholarships, Nguyen Thi Huong Thao (Faculty of Oriental Studies) and Ta Hong Hanh (Faculty of Literature) expressed their thanks for the support of AEON Group and shared with AEON representatives their future dreams.
After the scholarship award ceremony, AEON Group representatives took time to share about recruitment needs and experiences and listen to students' wishes and aspirations.
