7 R&D projects won ministerial awards

In the 2009 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 15 student research projects competing for the Student Research Award of the Ministry of Education and Training, of which 7 projects won awards.

  • Vu Thu Trang (Faculty of Psychology) with the topic "Environmental protection behavior of students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities"
- 02 third prizes:
  • Pham Thi Ngan (Faculty of Archival Science and Office Administration) with the topic "Historical value of some personal archives at National Archives Center III".
  • Nguyen Thu Trang, Nguyen Minh Huong, Vu Minh Phuong (Faculty of Sociology) with the topic "Community approach in the project "Intervention to prevent and solve the situation of street children of CEPHAD organization" implemented in Thanh Hoa in the period 2006-2008".
- 04 consolation prizes:
  • Pham Thi Hong Nhung (Faculty of Linguistics) with the topic "Survey of place names in Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu district - Ninh Binh".
  • Phan Duy Anh (Political Science Department) with the topic "Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on talent and using talent".
  • Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (Faculty of Philosophy) with the topic "John Stuart Mill's political and social philosophical thoughts in the work "On Liberty" - some possibilities for applying to perfecting the democratic mechanism in Vietnam today".
  • Nguyen Huong Thao (Faculty of Literature) with the topic "Intertextual approach from literature to cinema in the work The Quiet American".
