Signing of cooperation agreement with the University of South Australia

During his visit and work with several Australian universities, on February 25, 2011, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh signed a cooperation agreement with the University of South Australia.Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of the University of South Australia, there were Professor Nigel Relph - Deputy Director in charge of international relations, Professor Pal Ahluwalia - Deputy Director in charge of social sciences and humanities, Professor Kerry Green - Head of the School of Communication, International Relations and Languages ​​and a number of representatives of research units in the social sciences and humanities of the university. At the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed and affirmed their common interests in training and research and expressed the prospects of the contents of the cooperation program. The content of the cooperation document mentioned the contents of training cooperation, scientific research, exchange of scholars and students. After the signing ceremony, the two universities will launch the development of a joint undergraduate training program in Journalism (2+2 model), a master's program in Social Work (1+1 model) as well as research projects on social issues related to the Vietnamese community in Australia, on the relationship between Australia and Vietnam... The University of South Australia is one of the largest universities in Australia with nearly 40,000 students (including nearly 10,000 international students) currently studying and researching at 5 training facilities. Currently, there are three staff members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities doing research here in the majors of International Relations, Library Information and Social Work. After the signing ceremony, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh visited the laboratories serving the teaching and learning of Social Work, Linguistics and the media experimental centers of the university. These are newly upgraded centers with advanced technical equipment serving online learning and research and meeting international standards.
