On November 24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) signed a cooperation agreement with The Tan University (Taiwan).
On November 24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) signed a cooperation agreement with The Tan University (Taiwan).Attending the signing ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Sociology. On the side of The Tan University, there were Professor Du Chi Luc - Vice Principal, and representatives of the leaders of a number of affiliated academies, faculties, and departments. The content of the cooperation document between the two universities includes 5 main issues: - Exchange of scientific documents: textbooks, monographs, periodicals and other publications - Exchange of scientists and staff - Exchange of students, graduate students and postgraduates - Cooperation in scientific research - Jointly organizing training programs, seminars, and scientific surveys. In addition, at the signing ceremony, the two sides also focused on exchanging and discussing a number of training fields that may have cooperation opportunities in the future, such as: Journalism and Communication, Public Administration Management, Chinese Studies, Japanese Studies, etc. Research projects on social issues, especially immigration issues, were also of interest to both sides and were discussed with great attention. At the end of the signing ceremony, the leaders of both sides agreed and affirmed that there were many similarities between the two schools and expressed their hope that the cooperative relationship would soon be further promoted and expanded in the future.
