On the morning of March 2, 2010, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a launching ceremony to respond to the Youth Month, aiming to celebrate major holidays and the 26th Congress of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Attending the launching ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the School.

- Strengthen political and ideological education for union members, actively respond to phase II of the campaign "Studying and working according to Ho Chi Minh's moral example" towards building a disciplined and civilized school environment and student style of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- Promote activities to encourage and support learning, scientific research, and professional development among union members.
- Improve the quality of activities of branches and associations, continue to improve the form of activities suitable for credit training conditions, and do a good job of introducing Party members to Party organizations for consideration and admission.
- Enhance cultural, sports and social activities to celebrate major holidays and important events, contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of union members and students.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son, on behalf of the school's leaders, highly appreciated the efforts of the school's Youth Union in organizing many effective activities to propagate and orientate politics and ideology among student union members. 2010 was a year with many major activities of the country and of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, so the launching contents of the emulation campaign are truly of great significance to young people, thereby contributing to directing their thoughts and research to many major issues of the school and of society. On the other hand, these activities will help students to be self-aware of their roles and responsibilities towards the community and to strive better in their studies and work.
