On the morning of June 13, 2010, a delegation of union officials from Ho Chi Minh City National University, Can Tho University, Da Nang University and Hue University visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU). Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - chaired the reception.
On the morning of June 13, 2010, a delegation of union officials from Ho Chi Minh City National University, Can Tho University, Da Nang University and Hue University visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU). Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - chaired the reception.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh introduced the history of the development of the University, the training majors and the development orientations of the University. The Rector also emphasized the achievements of the University in training many high-ranking leaders for the Party and the State. The delegates representing the regional universities exchanged a lot of information with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities related to credit training, scientific research as well as expanding cooperative relations between members of the VNU and regional universities. Next, the delegation visited the Museum of Anthropology and listened to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thi My Dung - Director - present the results discovered during the archaeological excavation at Thanh Den (Me Linh, Vinh Phuc) in May 2010. Among them, the information that attracted the attention of delegates was the results of new discoveries and research that helped lead to more accurate conclusions about the event of 3000-year-old rice germination - an archaeological event that has caused a stir in the scientific community recently.
