The Center for Korean Language and Korean Studies under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was established with the aim of opening international standard Korean language training programs in Vietnam, contributing to expanding knowledge of Korean culture and Korean language for all Vietnamese students. The Center and its partner, Sangmyung University (Korea), have coordinated to open many diverse, high-quality training programs suitable for all students.
The Center for Korean Language and Korean Studies under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was established with the aim of opening international standard Korean language training programs in Vietnam, contributing to expanding knowledge of Korean culture and Korean language for all Vietnamese students. The Center and its partner, Sangmyung University (Korea), have coordinated to open many diverse, high-quality training programs suitable for all students.
The first course will start on July 6, 2009. Registration is from June 15 to July 1, 2009. Students will have two trial classes on June 27 and July 4, 2009 before officially starting the course.
Currently, the Center is opening Korean classes for Beginners (Elementary 1 and Elementary 2), Intermediate (Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2), Advanced (Advanced 1 and Advanced 2), Korean communication courses, Korean for studying abroad, and Korean for business. The lecturers are native teachers of the Korean Language and Culture Training Center of Sangmyung University. The teaching materials are compiled based on the most modern textbooks of famous universities in Korea. Not only learning theory, students will feel excited when practicing Korean in many different roles with specific practical situations. The goal of the courses is to bring confidence and dynamism to students when they use Korean fluently in studying, researching and communicating.
When studying at the Center, students are also consulted by experienced lecturers and experts with useful information about Korean language learning methods, the latest information about Korean education, and understanding of Korea's unique culture. This is especially useful and necessary for students who wish to study abroad at Korean universities, work at Korean agencies and enterprises in Korea and Vietnam. If they have good academic results, students can receive scholarships and be introduced by the Center to work at Korean enterprises.
After completing the course, students will receive a graduation certificate issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Sangmyung University, and have the opportunity to do an internship at the Korean Language and Culture Training Center at Sangmyung University.
