- Kien Giang converges and exists with full historical and cultural values, natural conditions to become a unique heritage region. Currently, the whole province has more than 148 historical and cultural relics of all kinds, of which 56 are ranked, including: 01 special national relic, 22 national relics and 33 provincial relics. This is an invaluable source of documents to arouse the sense of responsibility, the sense of striving in studying and training of the current young generation. The Four Martyrs Tower was built to commemorate the heroic sacrifice of the four Khmer Theravada Buddhist monks mentioned above, is a historical evidence, has been recognized as a National Historical Relic, has the meaning of educating the tradition of patriotism for the young generation, most directly the young generation of Kien Giang province, including Khmer youth.
- The research on the Four Martyrs Tower and the significance of educating the patriotic tradition for the young generation of Kien Giang province has not been studied extensively. The aspects have only been included in a few contents in the reports of the Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns in Kien Giang province or recorded as historical documents of the struggle of the Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns and the Khmer ethnic people in Kien Giang without going into detail to clarify the role in the spiritual life of the Khmer people in Kien Giang. Therefore, my thesis topic needs to be carried out. When completed, it will be a valuable source of documents for reference, study, inheritance and promotion of patriotic tradition in the future with scientific and practical value.
- The thesis has summarized the concepts and ideas about spiritual life, spiritual and cultural life, religious life; festivals, traditional festivals, patriotism and resistance against the enemy.
-The thesis analyzed the tradition of patriotism, Khmer Theravada Buddhism in Kien Giang blends into the flow of ethnic groups in Kien Giang province. Besides, Khmer Theravada Buddhism also integrates with the good aspects of traditional beliefs that have existed for generations and are still inherited and developed by the people. Facing the domination and oppression of the feudal, colonial and imperialist regimes, Khmer Theravada Buddhism in Kien Giang has always accompanied the nation and the people in the struggles for national independence. Besides, there have been many Buddhists who have heroically sacrificed for the cause of protecting the goodness and the beautiful truth of Buddha against cruelty. One can mention the heroic sacrifice of four martyr monks: Lam Hung, Danh Tap, Danh Hom, Danh Hoi in the protest against the US - Puppet regime forcing monks to join the army as cannon fodder and bombarding pagodas on June 10, 1974 in Kien Thanh district (now Rach Soi ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province). From there, we can see the important role of Theravada Buddhism through the Four Martyrs' Tower in the spiritual life of the Khmer people; as well as the role of the Four Martyrs' Tower in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​and patriotism of the Khmer people.
- The thesis has mentioned in detail the event of four martyr monks sacrificed on June 10, 1974 and the stupa of four martyr monks to speak of the important event for the people of Kien Giang. The thesis also mentioned the life of monks and Buddhists today at pagodas in Kien Giang province such as rituals and through that, educating traditions for young people in Kien Giang.

12. Further research directions:
Although I have tried my best to complete the thesis as completely as possible, due to time and space constraints, the thesis has not gone into depth and expanded the scope of research. Therefore, the next direction of the author will expand the scope of research in the Mekong Delta region to have a comprehensive view and compare the similarities and differences in each living area.
