10. Summary of thesis results:
Depression is a disease that can occur at any age, increasing in the period of adolescence to early adulthood. In this study, the author has provided an overview of the problem of depressive disorders in adults and used the cognitive-behavioral therapy approach, one of the therapeutic approaches that has been proven to be most effective in supporting depression in the process of supporting clients.
The research results show that: the client has reduced the manifestation of depressive disorder, the cognitive behavioral therapy applied in the case has achieved certain effects: the client forms and performs more practical activities for himself, identifies common obstacles and strategies to overcome them; the client restructures his thoughts to help the client's spirit and emotions be more comfortable.
11. Practical applicability: From the results obtained through the process of theoretical research and clinical practice, the thesis has contributed to showing the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in depression intervention in adults. Through this, it also emphasizes the role and application of psychotherapy in therapeutic intervention in particular and cognitive behavioral therapy in general for people with psychological difficulties.
