Researching Ho Chi Minh's views on the rule of law is an interdisciplinary study, attracting the interest of many political scientists, jurists, philosophers and historians. In the context of the development of the market economy, the challenges of globalization and international integration; the intellectual level of the people is increasingly improved. More than ever, the Party and the State need to promote the construction and perfection of the socialist rule of law state. In this thesis, the author has summarized the contents of Ho Chi Minh's views on the rule of law. Contributing to clarifying a number of theoretical issues on the rule of law ideology in general and Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the rule of law in particular. From there, propose a number of solutions to build and perfect the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam today according to Ho Chi Minh's views on the rule of law.

The construction of a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam has achieved remarkable achievements, with judicial and administrative reforms making breakthroughs in a number of areas. However, there are still limitations and shortcomings in the construction of a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam today, such as: The awareness of law observance of a significant number of party members, officials, civil servants and people is not really serious; human rights and civil rights have not been fully promoted. Therefore, the research results of the topic will contribute to helping researchers and policy makers refer to and propose directions and strategies for building and perfecting a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam.
