School anxiety is a common problem among children and adolescents, characterized by physical, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms that arise in response to stressful situations at school that the student perceives as threatening or dangerous. The present study was conducted to determine whether cognitive behavioral therapy would be effective for an elementary school student with school anxiety. The study detailed a 12-session, 3-month intervention. School anxiety symptoms, pain complaints, and coping skills were assessed at the beginning and end of the intervention. The results showed clinically significant reductions in school anxiety symptoms and pain complaints, and students were provided with the skills needed to cope with stressful situations at school.
11. Practical application:
The results of the study showed the effectiveness of applying cognitive-behavioral therapy to psychological intervention for a student with school anxiety. This is a concrete evidence for the possibility of applying cognitive-behavioral therapy in practice to provide individual psychological intervention for clients with school anxiety, and at the same time, it can be expanded into preventive models based on cognitive-behavioral approaches in schools to provide psychological support for students with anxiety in general.
12. Further research directions:
Future research can focus on the following research directions: (1) Research on the current status of school anxiety in Vietnam, (2) research on the development of additional clinical tools to assess school anxiety in Vietnamese samples, and (3) research on school anxiety prevention programs in schools.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: (Summarize them with stress on the new findings, if any)
School anxiety is a common problem in children and adolescents, with physical, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms occurring in response to stressful school situations that students perceive as threatening or endangering themselves. The current study was conducted to see whether the application of cognitive-behavioral therapy would be effective for an elementary school student with school anxiety. The study details the psychological intervention process that took place in 12 sessions, lasting 3 months. Expressions of school anxiety, pain complaints, and coping abilities were assessed at the beginning and end of the intervention process. Research results have shown that school anxiety symptoms and pain complaints are significantly reduced, and at the same time, students are also provided with the necessary skills to cope with stressful situations at school.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
Research results have shown the effectiveness of applying cognitive-behavioral therapy to provide psychological intervention for a student with school anxiety. This is concrete evidence that cognitive-behavioral therapy can be applied in practice to provide individual psychological intervention for clients with school anxiety.
