Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis describes the overall local phonetic variations in Ba Vi district, and at the same time, uses mapping techniques to locate their functional space in Ba Vi district. If the research achieves its intended objectives, it is hoped that the results can contribute to providing a complete phonetic description of local phonetic variations of Ba Vi language. We hope that the research results of the thesis will partly demonstrate the pronunciation differences of Ba Vi language in particular and Hanoi language in rural areas in general compared to Hanoi language in urban areas and Vietnamese language of the whole population. Thereby clarifying the diversity of the linguistic and cultural picture of Hanoi capital.
