10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis focuses on studying the characteristics of the Vietnamese closed rhyme subtype. The main objective is to find the distinctive features of the closed rhyme subtype in comparison with other rhyme types through an experimental approach. The experimental results show that: the duration of the [closed] rhyme (syllable) has a shorter final sound /p, t, k/ than other rhyme (syllable) types; the 2 tones [sắc, trong] in the [closed] rhyme (syllable) are also different from the 2 tones [sắc, trong] in the remaining rhyme (syllable) types. From there, it can be applied to teaching Vietnamese to foreigners: helping both teachers and learners to identify the characteristics of the closed rhyme subtype, and at the same time warning learners of errors.
11. Practical applicability: Contribute to the field of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners, helping both teachers and learners identify the characteristics of duration as well as the distribution of [sharp tones] and [heavy tones] in Vietnamese syllable types.
12. Further research directions:
We wish to expand the scope of the topic to be able to identify all the characteristics of Vietnamese rhymes, helping to teach and learn Vietnamese as a foreign language effectively.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The thesis focuses on studying the characteristics of the closed rhymes subcategory in Vietnamese. The main objective is to identify the distinguishing features of closed rhymes in comparison with other rhymes types through an experimental approach. Experimental results show that the length of closed rhymes (syllables) ending with /p, t, k/ is shorter than that of other rhymes (syllables) types. Additionally, the two tones [sharp, heavy] in closed rhymes (syllables) are different from the two tones [sharp, heavy] in other rhymes (syllables) types. This can be applied to teaching Vietnamese to foreigners: it helps both teachers and learners recognize the distinctive features of closed syllables and warns learners about potential errors.
11. Practical applicability: Contributing to the field of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners, helping both teachers and learners recognize the characteristics of length as well as the distribution of the [sharp tone] and [heavy tone] in different types of Vietnamese syllables.
12. Further research directions: We aim to expand the scope of the subject to be able to identify all the characteristics of Vietnamese rhymes, helping the teaching and learning of Vietnamese as a foreign language achieve high efficiency.
