On June 21, 2023, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed Decision No. 2178/QD-VNU on promulgating the master's training program in Japanese Studies (code: 8310613) and assigned the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) to organize the training.

On May 6, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) organized the Vietnamese Proficiency Assessment Test according to the Vietnamese Proficiency Framework for Foreigners in May 2023.
