11. Summary of new results of the thesis
(Summarize the new results of the thesis)
- In theory: The thesis proves the irreversible trend in the development of the Mining industry and its IT sector under the impact of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution: either losing competitiveness or having to apply the achievements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution on the basis of enhancing endogenous capacity for development; Applying the approach to the national innovation system, the approach to policy analysis and evaluation to build the IT policy framework of the Mining industry in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.
- In practice: Based on the policy framework, the thesis has proposed some key solutions of IT policy in the Mining industry. Contribute to the improvement of the theory of science and technology management in general and IT management in particular; Point out the strengths and weaknesses in the IT policy issued by the Mining industry and the causes of that situation as a basis for proposing an IT policy framework for the Mining industry under the impact of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution;
12. Practical application:
The thesis can be a reference for research as well as for information technology policy planning for the Mining industry (applied to Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group).
