Scientific research is closely linked to training, directly and indirectly used to improve teaching and learning according to the Bachelor's training program in VNH, which is one of the strategic orientations of the Faculty for many years, especially since 2018. The system of topics, articles, and general scientific research results of the staff of the Faculty of VNH & TV all serve the development of the program, improve the content and methods of teaching and learning, aiming to ensure the quality of the training program in a substantial, in-depth manner and with the prospect of better change.
Most of the research topics and scientific conferences have new scientific points and are announced and published in the form of scientific articles, textbooks, monographs and reference books. The Faculty has 01 scientific product that won the national science award organized by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lam.
Scientific research activities are one of the two basic tasks and aim first of all to serve training. Thoroughly grasping this viewpoint and orientation, from 2017 to present, the Faculty has organized and created conditions for Faculty staff to preside over many scientific research topics at all levels; compile many textbooks, lectures, monographs, and reference books; conduct many Master's and PhD theses and publish hundreds of articles in scientific journals. Research results have been used to improve teaching and learning, specifically as follows:
- The research results of some topics have been used to re-evaluate training results and determine the development direction of the VNH industry in the coming time, in line with the context of regional and international integration.
- Research results of staff and teachers have been used to develop new subjects, adding to the training program.
