* Exam organization assignment:
- Subjects of Literature and History: University of Social Sciences and Humanities presides over, in coordination with University of Education.
- Foreign language exams: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean: University of Foreign Languages is in charge of organizing the exams.
- Geography and Science and Technology Exam: University of Education presides over and coordinates with University of Natural Sciences to organize.
- Subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics: University of Technology presides over and coordinates with University of Natural Sciences to organize.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities successfully hosted the 2023-2024 VNU High School Olympic Exam in Literature and History.
* Contestants:
High school students with good training and study results and high school students nationwide are sent to take the exam by high schools.
Number of candidates per team:
+ High schools of VNU are allowed to send no more than 30 members/team
+ Teams of specialized high schools must have no more than 10 members/team for each subject.
+ Teams of other High Schools: no more than 5 members/team for each subject.
+ Each Science and Technology competition team has no more than 2 members, each high school has no more than 3 projects participating in the competition.
* Register and prepare for the exam:
- High schools must submit registration for the exam before September 10, 2024 and the list of participating teams before September 15, 2024 to the Examination Councils.
- Units assigned to organize the exam update information of candidates taking the exam on the information portal of the unit assigned to organize the exam. 3. Exam time:

- The exam will be held on October 26 and 27, 2024;
- Science and Technology subjects will be held at the end of December 2024.
- The exam organizing units determine the specific exam date and session and report to VNU before August 30, 2024.
* Announcement of exam results:
After the VNU Olympic Steering Committee approves the prize structure, the Examination Councils must announce the exam results to the candidates. Deadline: before November 18, 2024.
