Implementing the National Strategy on attracting and employing talents to 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved under Decision No. 899/QD-TTg dated July 31, 2023 of the Prime Minister; Pursuant to Circular No. 05/2023/TT-BKHCN dated May 22, 2023 of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) detailing a number of contents on attracting, using and employing individuals working in science and technology and operational needs, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) implements a policy to attract outstanding scientists with the following contents:
1. Attractive objectScientists with excellent research achievements, both at home and abroad (including Vietnamese people living abroad and foreigners), who wish to participate in scientific research, take on strong research group leaders positions in the fields of science and technology that VNU prioritizes research (according to the List attached to this Notice).
2. Benefits- Enjoy preferential treatment according to regulations of the State and VNU;
- Priority in using facilities and equipment shared by VNU; guaranteed working conditions, equipment and implementation of policies and mechanisms according to the agreement to promote Vietnam's key science and technology fields;
- Invested funding to carry out science and technology tasks from 3 billion VND in 3 years;
- Proposed investment in capacity building to develop a strong research team.
3. Working form- Signing of employment contract/labor contract/professional outsourcing contract.
