Not just a charity activity, “UP 2025” has become a journey carrying the aspiration to sow seeds of knowledge, love and hope to lands with many difficulties.
Giving knowledge - Connecting love
On April 26, with 3,000 books (including 4,000 books) donated, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Information and Library Science together created a new and inspiring learning space for Nam Phong students - a place where young dreams are nurtured every day.
Teachers of the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities presented books to Nam Phong Primary and Secondary School.
In the solemn moment of the awarding ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Do Van Hung, Party Committee member, Head of the Faculty of Information and Library, was moved to share: "We hope that these books will become companions, giving you strength to step towards the vast horizon of knowledge. The Faculty of Information and Library commits to always stand side by side with you on your journey of discovery and conquest of knowledge."
In response to that sentiment, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hien, Principal of Nam Phong Primary and Secondary School, was moved to express: "The precious care and support of teachers and students of the Faculty of Information and Library Science is a great source of encouragement for us. We promise to cherish and maximize the value of these gifts of knowledge, to help the children's dreams take flight."
Teachers and students of the Library Information Department took souvenir photos with local leaders and teachers of Nam Phong Primary and Secondary School.
Not only stopping at books, the volunteer group also organized exciting exchange games, the innocent smiles, the clear eyes of the students seemed to add vitality to the warm human space. The brilliant campfire night with simple performances lit up the entire Nam Phong schoolyard, connecting souls from different lands with an invisible but strong bond of love.

Spread the love – Discover the heritage
On the morning of April 27, the delegation continued to visit and present meaningful gifts to students in difficult circumstances - small gifts but containing a loving message: "Be steadfast on the path of learning, because knowledge will pave the way for the future."

On the same day, the volunteer group had a field trip to the Heritage Park of Vietnamese Scientists. Here, students of the Faculty of Information and Library learned about the work of inventorying, preserving and storing valuable artifacts and documents, and learned about the profound contributions of famous Vietnamese scientists, thereby feeling more deeply about the sacred mission of the industry in preserving scientific memory and national culture.

Each page of a book sent, each bright look from a student, each heritage story listened to… all contribute to a beautiful, emotional symphony of knowledge, humanity and the desire to reach far.
As the “LEN 2025” project comes to an end, sweet memories remain in the hearts of each participant. We have seen the sparkling light in their eyes – the light of dreams that have just been lit up from the pages of new books.
More than a volunteer campaign, "UP 2025" is a journey of compassion and unlimited sharing, where every book, every smile, every handshake carries the message of "Knowledge and Hope" to difficult areas across the country.
