The delegation of the School included Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Thach (Party Committee Secretary), Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Principal), and Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (School Youth Union Secretary).
At the reception, Head of Me Tri Dormitory Management Board Nguyen Dai Thang shared about the situation of epidemic prevention and control. Immediately after receiving information about the new developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, in accordance with Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, the Management Board reviewed students, approached and visited to understand the students' circumstances, and found solutions to overcome the difficulties they are facing.
Mr. Nguyen Dai Thang reported on the situation of epidemic prevention and control and student support at Me Tri Dormitory.
Students, especially those who are policy beneficiaries and foreign students, are supported with essential necessities and provided with favorable living conditions on-site. Propaganda and mobilization measures are also implemented to ensure that students comply with regulations on social distancing and epidemic prevention. The Management Board has also set up quarantine checkpoints to control the flow of movement in and out of the dormitory.

On behalf of the school, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Xuan Thach (Party Committee Secretary) commended the dedication and close attention of the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board in the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic as well as ensuring living and accommodation conditions for students. The school hopes that the staff and students in the dormitory will continue to unite and join hands to overcome the current difficult period caused by the pandemic.

Next, the school leaders presented support gifts to 223 boarding students at Me Tri dormitory; each gift is worth 300,000 VND and will be transferred to each student.
Two students, Inpeng Lattana (Faculty of Anthropology) and Hoang Thi Thu Phuong (Faculty of International Studies), represented the boarding students to receive the gifts. They expressed their joy and gratitude for the caring and sharing of the teachers in the School's Board of Directors. This small gift will be a valuable encouragement for them to maintain their spirit, overcome difficulties and return to study after the epidemic has been controlled.
