Beauty Mai Thi Ha Thu: 'Take one step back to move forward two steps'

Mai Thi Ha Thuwas a student of the Institute of Journalism and Communication,University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University. Before becoming famous for her "captivating" beauty, Ha Thu was known for many high achievements. Most recently, Ha Thu was admitted to the Party and graduated with honors inPresslearnand received a 25% scholarship majoring in Marketing at RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia).
 

Mai Thi Ha Thu made a splash when she reached the top 20 of Miss World Vietnam 2023 and received attention from the public.
 

Sharing about the changes after returning from the contest, Ha Thu said: “After the Miss World Vietnam 2023 contest,lifeMy life has changed a lot in a positive direction. The most valuable thing I have received is the love, care and enthusiastic support from everyone. This is a great motivation for me to continue to strive and develop myself."

After the contest ended, unlike other beauties who appeared frequently in the media, Ha Thu seemed to be more reserved.

Ha Thu takes the time to set specific goals and invests all her energy into realizing them. She prioritizes in-depth research, which helps develop the habit of thinking and continuous learning.

"Thu believes that learning is not limited by a certain space and time; instead, we can learn anytime, anywhere, from the formal learning environment in schools to experiences and lessons from the outside society," Ha Thu shared.

The beauty believes that being prominent on social media can bring many good opportunities, but she prioritizes studying and developing herself. “Thu is someone who is always determined to pursue her dream of knowledge and has never thought of participating in a beauty contest, so Miss World Vietnam 2023 is like a big turning point in her life, a premise for Thu to explore a completely new field and an opportunity to understand herself. After the contest, Thu decided to enroll at RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) as a master's student majoring in marketing because for her, education is a solid foundation to realize her future dreams.”
Ha Thu shared that “taking one step back to move forward two steps” is the key to achieving more sustainable success in the future. “The ‘pause’ button in continuing to participate in other beauty contests is an opportunity for me to exploit my strengths. This is the time for me to consolidate and develop my core qualities, thereby better preparing for the next opportunities and going further in my journey,” Ha Thu said.

Talking about future plans, Ha Thu said she will continue to study for a master's degree and develop herself.

“Studying in a global, culturally and racially diverse environment has helped me broaden my horizons and better define my long-term goals. Interacting and connecting with friends from all over the worldworldhelped me improve my communication skills and new skills.

I also want to enrich my life by exploring other countries' cultures. This helps me accumulate more knowledge and change my thinking to become a global citizen," Ha Thu shared.
