The photo exhibition program to celebrate "50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification" and a discussion introducing two books: "Vision from History: Perfecting Vietnamese Values ​​in the New Era" and "April 30, 1975 - Looking Back 50 Years" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU this morning, April 24, 2025.

The victory on April 30, 1975 was a great feat, a historical miracle of the Vietnamese people. It was the last battle in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign - the peak of the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, putting an end to the war, opening a new era - a period of peace and national reunification. Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Hung - former Lecturer, Former Vice President of the Veterans Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU - shared his emotional thoughts on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

On April 23, 2025, the Department of Art Studies - Faculty of Literature, the Cinema Club, the Youth Union and the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) organized a seminar on "Tunnel Films and the Re-enactment of War Memories in Contemporary Cinema"; practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
