On the morning of March 5, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Director of Hanoi National University to appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa to hold the position of Vice Principals of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice President of VNU, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and leaders of the university's affiliated units. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son presented the appointment decisions to Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa. Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son congratulated Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa and expressed his belief in the capacity, enthusiasm and management experience of the two associate professors who will, together with the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, continue to develop the University further. On this occasion, Associate Professor Nguyen Kim Son also expressed his deep gratitude to all the staff of the University who accompanied and helped him successfully complete his tasks in his previous position as Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will always be a familiar and close address to Associate Professor Nguyen Kim Son personally.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh thanked the trust of VNU and all staff of the University and affirmed that he will continue to strive to contribute to the overall development of the University. On behalf of all staff and students of the University, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - congratulated Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa on being appointed as Vice Rector. In his speech, the Rector emphasized: The development orientation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities by 2020 is to strive to be in the top 200 universities in Asia, hoping that Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa will promote their strengths, increase resources to promote the development of the University more quickly.
