Starting from the 2009-2010 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize a number of summer classes for students. The study period will start from July 19 to August 27, 2010, and the semester exam schedule will start from August 30 to September 3, 2010.
Starting from the 2009-2010 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize a number of summer classes for students. The study period will start from July 19 to August 27, 2010, and the semester exam schedule will start from August 30 to September 3, 2010.All students who have passed the prerequisite courses can register for summer courses and will be arranged by the school according to the standards and wishes. Unlike the two official semesters, in the summer semester, students can only register for a maximum of 8 credits. According to the latest statistics from the Training Department, there have been nearly 650 students registered for the summer semester and are divided into 12 classes. Most of them are subjects belonging to the general and basic knowledge of the major group. Specifically as follows:Science and technology directory, Geographic work in libraries, Public library system, each class consists of 53 students;General Sociologyincluding 65 students;Theory of socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnamincluding 91 students;Advanced Marxist-Leninist philosophyincluding 61 students;General Logicincluding 120 students;Vietnamese Literature 1945 – 1975andVietnamese Literature from 1975 to Presentincluding 54 students;Applied AnthropologyandDevelopmental AnthropologyEach class consists of 47 students; Internship (Information - Library major) consists of 53 students. Opening classes during the summer is one of the great advantages of the credit-based training method, to help improve the scores of some subjects for students in need and create conditions for advanced study for students with ability. This is also a way to help students have the conditions to arrange their study time in a more diverse and reasonable way.
