Opening of key staff conference

More than 100 key officials of the University and guest delegates from Hanoi National University attended the opening session of the Conference of Key Officials of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on the afternoon of May 27, 2010 in Cua Lo - Nghe An.In the opening session, the Conference listened to the preliminary report of the 2009-2010 school year and the orientation and tasks for the 2010-2011 school year presented by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Principal). The preliminary report of the school year specifically stated the results achieved in all aspects of the school's activities in the 2009-2010 school year, up to the present time, in all areas: undergraduate training, postgraduate training, training inspection, scientific research, staff organization, political and student affairs, foreign affairs and international cooperation, quality assessment, infrastructure construction, planning - finance, development and application of information technology - communications, university administration and management... In each area, the existing problems and their causes were also analyzed to find solutions for the coming school year. In the second part of the report, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim emphasized the directions and tasks as well as the main solutions that need to be implemented in the coming school year. The financial and material facilities issues of the school in the past school year were also reported by Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Principal) to the Conference. At the opening session, the Conference also heard Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Vice Rector) present the action program to implement the Prime Minister's directive and the action program of the Ministry of Education and Training on innovation in university education management for the period 2010 - 2012. Speaking at the opening session, on behalf of the leaders of Hanoi National University, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Trong Quat (Vice Director) highly appreciated the achievements of the University in the past school year, and welcomed the directions determined by the University for the 2010 - 2011 school year. The limitations pointed out in the Summary Report were also noted by Associate Professor Dr. Pham Trong Quat that the University needs to overcome so that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is worthy of its position as a leading university in research in social sciences and humanities. On the morning of May 28, the Conference continued to discuss the reports presented on the afternoon of May 27, and listened to the draft report on the school development strategy for the period 2010-2012, vision 2030; Report on promoting training and fostering of staff in the school year 2010-2011 and the following years.
