English course for tourism

Currently, the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Training Cooperation, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the only unit that organizes exams and grants tourism-related foreign language certificates to tour guides nationwide. The foreign language certificate is one of the conditions for being granted an international tour guide card. In order to equip English knowledge for tour guides, the Center continuously enrolls students in tourism-related English courses for interested subjects.

1. Why should you take a specialized English course for tourism?

When you join the course, you willwill be:

• Provides common vocabulary in the tourism industry
• Knowledge about Vietnamese culture, history and people in English
• Practice English communication skills in tourism activities
• In particular, you have more career opportunities with a dynamic working environment, flexible working hours and high income.

2. Who should take this course?

• Students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, Faculty of History, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Literature... who want to become tour guides.
• Those who want to improve their knowledge of vocabulary, culture, history, and Vietnamese people in English...
• Subjects do not have an international tour guide card.

3. Course information:

* Duration:20 sessions/course (2 hours/session)

* Course:English for tourism.

* Lecturer:Lecturer has a lot of experience teaching English for Professional Purposes.

* Tuition:1,500,000 VND/course

* Number of students: minimum 15 students/class

* Opening day: contact center

* Class schedule: 3 sessions/week (Monday - Wednesday - Friday)

* Study location:University of Social Sciences and Humanities (366, Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi)
