SEG Events Club is introducing its activities
“Take off” is the meaningful theme that the Youth Union - Student Association of the School wants to send to new students through a series of activities on the opening ceremony. To prepare for a four-year “flight”, the departure time is always important. Right after the opening ceremony, new students participated in the club festival. Each club organized image communication and recruitment for the new semester. 18 clubs under the Youth Union and Student Association - each club has its own personality and unique features, but they all have in common the exciting activities to attract students to register for admission.

Nhat Linh - a member of the Student Volunteer Team Xung Kich shared: “We focus on communicating on the fanpage so that new students know more about Xung Kich. Today, looking at you, I feel like the memories of my first year are flooding back, along with the excitement of welcoming you to the Team. Hopefully, next year, the Student Volunteer Team Xung Kich will become stronger and help the school and students more.”
USSH Guitar Club is recruiting new generation members
Minh Ngoc - a member of the Gender Equality Humanities Club said: “We are organizing the Workshop “Kị quá Thị ơi” and the painting exhibition “Truong toi an toa” within the framework of Hanoi Pride to promote images so that people know about Nha Cam. I am very happy, excited and looking forward to new members, and I also hope that the Club can expand and develop further in the future”.

The departure luggage continues with two events taking place in parallel on the afternoon of September 21. Those are "New Student Luggage" and the discussion "Is it difficult or easy to be a good student with 5 good qualities?". Coming to "New Student Luggage", students of K64 will participate in the very interesting program "Ring the Golden Bell". The questions in the contest are quite diverse and rich, focusing on understanding about the Student Union, about the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi... Thereby, students will be equipped with knowledge and skills about studying double majors, applying for scholarships, volunteering activities... After many rounds of competition, student Hoang Van Xuan Truong - K64 Vietnam Studies has excellently become the person who "rings the golden bell" in the highest position.

The seminar “Is it difficult or easy to be a good student?” was organized with the aim of developing a movement to compete in training and studying to achieve the title of “Good Student”. During the seminar, new students had the opportunity to interact and exchange with guests and speakers who are good students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University, City and Central levels. Students were informed about the criteria of good students; were given advice on how to allocate and arrange time to balance studying and strive to become good students; the benefits of being a good student, etc.

The highlight of the series of events welcoming new students was the “Take Off” Gala night. Students were welcomed by exciting, unique and special performances from the art competition of 10 clubs under the Youth Union - Student Association. In the final results, the “Most Exciting” award went to the Peacecrew Club and the Social Work Student Team. The “Most Impressive” award was given to the Humanitarian Blood Donation Youth Team and the Humanitarian Vovinam Club. The Karate Club of Hanoi National University won the “Most Favorite” award.

Next, the Gala night also left its mark with the appearance of singer Van Mai Huong with the songs that made her name. The new students were also welcomed by MC Hanh Phuc with words of encouragement and meaningful sharing before "taking off" to fly with their own aspirations. Finally, the extremely successful Gala night ended with the extremely fiery EDM music of DJ DTV3Z. Surely the new students "went crazy" to welcome a new school year with many new successes.

Sharing about the series of special events welcoming K64, Ms. Nguyen Bich Dao - President of the School's Student Union shared: "I am very happy to welcome 2,000 new students to USSH. Looking at those bright faces, I really hope that the next generation can follow in the footsteps of the Youth Union's activities. In fact, in this series of events, there is a very special point, which is that almost all the preparations have been very enthusiastic participation of the students of K64. I can quickly integrate into the university environment with the knowledge and skills that have been equipped today.
