Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University), representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, Faculty of Oriental Studies; on behalf of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, there were Mr. Kim Byeong Sam (Deputy General Director of Human Resources and Administration), Mr. Lai Hoang Dung (Head of Training Department) and especially 20 students participating in the course.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan thanked Samsung Electronics for trusting and choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the unit to train Korean for the company's excellent employees over the years. He hopes that through further study of Korean, students can learn more about the culture, country and people of Korea, and use it as a basis for their work and study.

On behalf of Samsung, Mr. Kim Byeong Sam thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for creating opportunities to organize courses for the company's employees; hoping that the University will continue to be a reliable partner in the future. For the students, he hopes that they will develop their full potential, overcome all difficulties and obstacles to achieve high results in the next 13 weeks. Hopefully, with the knowledge of Korean language and culture provided in the course, the students will make remarkable progress and have better career opportunities in the future.

The Korean language course for elite employees of Samsung Thai Nguyen Company will take place in 13 weeks from September 13 to December 20, 2019 with about 770 hours of study. The study time frame for students is 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., an average of 10 hours of continuous study per day. The course has a mid-term exam in weeks 2, 6, 10 and a final exam in weeks 4, 8, 12. The output goal is that students of the course will achieve a Topik Korean certificate from level 4 or higher.
