Very early, the members of the Organizing Committee were present at the 8th floor Hall - Building E to complete the final preparations for the grand finale. At around 4pm, as scheduled, the top 12 were present to perform the final rehearsal on stage, combined with sound and light. Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, the atmosphere in the 8th floor Hall - Building E was still heated by the desire to shine and burn out of each contestant.
The final night was attended by many delegates and distinguished guests such as: Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and also Honorary President of FIS English Club, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Khac Nam - Head of the Faculty of International Studies, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Party cell secretary, Vice Head of the Faculty of International Studies, Mr. Nguyen Van Dap - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Faculty of International Studies, Mr. Dang Vu Thai - former student of K54 of the Faculty of International Studies, beauty of the rocky plateau Luu Thi Hoa, two representatives from Melody of Life last season Pham Thi Van and Nguyen My Le Giang, Nguyen Quoc Thanh - Head of the Music Club of the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi and also the music advisor for this year's contestants, along with more than 500 audiences inside and outside the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The three judges who accompanied the entire competition included: Master Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, singer Thuy Dang - top 14 of The Voice 2012, and Mr. Andrew Venemore - English lecturer of ACET center, who were present to welcome the excellent performances of the top 12.

18:30, The final night of the Melody of Life 2014 contest, opened with very sincere and useful sharing about the movement of learning and singing English by Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Former student Pham Thi Van and Nguyen My Le Giang - two contestants who won the "Impressive Couple" award of the Melody of Life season opened the show with the song Payphone. According to Van and Giang, "Participating in the Melody of Life 2014 Final Night, we felt the thoughts and emotions from 2 years ago come flooding back. In fact, after the competition, we learned many lessons about how to coordinate well on stage, about team spirit and improving our English singing ability."
Next, the Top 12 contestants of this year’s competition performed in turn in the first round: “Solo round”. The performances in the final night with their unique colors and diversity in musical genres, content, and creativity in performance form brought an extremely exciting and vibrant atmosphere throughout the competition night. Despite the heavy rain, all the seats in the 8th floor Hall of Building E were filled, enough to see the success of each performance of the contestants.

The second round of the final night of the “Duet Singing Round” officially took place. The contestants really combined and worked together very well to have an excellent and successful performance. Each contestant of the top 12 really shined and achieved success in each performance.

After more than 2 hours of competition, the judges evaluated and scored each performance of the contestants in the two rounds.

In addition to the performances of the Top 12 contestants of Melody of Life 2014, the final night also featured a number of performances from judge Andrew Venemore and Nguyen Quoc Thanh - President of the Music Club of Foreign Trade University and especially from the beautiful judge Thuy Dang - Top 12 of The Voice 2012. The appearance of these performances brought very unique experiences to each audience as well as a fresh atmosphere on stage. In addition, throughout the competition, the Organizing Committee had many exchanges and interactions with the audience in the hall.

At the end of the competition night, the jury selected the champion of Melody of Life 2014. This year's first prize belongs to Ta Minh Tien - K58 Management Science CLC - University of Social Sciences and Humanities

Singer and judge Thuy Dang shared, “The quality of the contestants in this year’s Melody of Life contest is quite high. The contestants have chosen songs that suit them and have made a lot of progress compared to the preliminary round. Like the contestants here, Thuy has also participated in many art programs like this since she was a student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication. And if you really want to pursue a musical career, there are many competitions and reality shows that will take you to the path of professional singing.”

The winner of the contest, Ta Minh Tien, shared, “I am really happy and excited to have spent nearly a month of the contest with the contestants and the Organizing Committee. Although I am really passionate about singing, I also want to complete my university program well before thinking about higher goals ahead.
We would like to thank E4VN English Center, The ParTime shop, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty Union - Faculty Association, the graduate class, the doctoral class, the teachers, the K54, K56, K57, K58, K59 International Studies Department Youth Unions and the benefactors who have accompanied the program throughout the past time.
