Conference on summarizing legal inspection work and disseminating law

The conference was attended by nearly 90 delegates representing leaders of functional departments; centers; standing committee of the Trade Union; representatives of the standing committee of the Youth Union and Student Association of the School; representatives of leaders of faculties; training assistants of all systems; assistants of politics and student affairs; part-time inspectors of units.

In the first part of the Conference, MSc. Nguyen Van Thuy, Head of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, presented the draft Summary Report on the work of Inspection and Legal Affairs in 2015 and the direction of inspection and legal affairs in the coming time. The report highlighted the main activities of the School in general and the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department in particular. Although the staff consists of only 04 officers, the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department has always promoted a positive, proactive and flexible spirit in professional activities. Under the direction of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, along with the close coordination between units in the School, the inspection and legal affairs work has achieved many encouraging results, maintaining discipline and order in all aspects, contributing to the completion of the school year's tasks and the overall development of the School.

In the next part, Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh, representative of the Organization and Personnel Department, presented and introduced 07 newly issued documents including legal documents of the State, the Ministry of Education and Training; management and operation documents of VNU and the University. In particular, the University's Organization and Personnel Department introduced the document on Regulations on organization and operation in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (Attached with Decision No. 510/QD-XHNV, dated March 5, 2015 of the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities). The Regulations consist of 10 chapters and 40 articles. This is a document that provides detailed and comprehensive regulations on all fields and activities of the School. For the first time since its establishment, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, has a separate document regulating the organization and activities of the School.

After listening to the presentations of the reporters, the Conference enthusiastically discussed the contents of the Draft Summary Report on the work of Information and Communications in the 2014-2015 school year; new points and reached consensus on the organization of implementation of the introduced legal documents.

At the end of the conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim concluded: The school's information and communication work has achieved many encouraging results. The core issue of the information and communication work of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is self-awareness, sense of responsibility, understanding, sincere sharing, close and synchronous coordination between management levels and each individual cadre, lecturer and civil servant in the school. The school's legal dissemination activities are carried out regularly, with updated content and diverse forms. Heads of units continue to study the new documents disseminated in this conference to clearly understand and thoroughly grasp the content of the documents for cadres and civil servants to grasp and implement accurately, promptly and effectively.
