Opening IELTS course for teachers

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and General Director of Jaxtina English Center - Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh signed a training cooperation contract.

Students of the two classes are lecturers from many departments and units in the School. Applying a 6-month four-skill training roadmap, Jaxtina English Center commits to an output equivalent to 6.5 IELTS for teachers. This is an activity under the Project to Improve English Proficiency for Lecturers in the period 2018-2020. Accordingly, lecturers of each age group according to regulations will have to meet English standards according to IELTS score bands with a certain roadmap and the School will open English classes for lecturers to register to participate.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Principal of the School emphasized: The School is aiming to build a university environment, a top quality research environment in Vietnam, towards regional and world integration. Foreign language will be the first key that lecturers must grasp to develop their expertise. English learning needs to be standardized according to the international IELTS assessment scale. Therefore, the organized class is an effort of the School in standardizing foreign language proficiency for the teaching staff and this desire can only be successful when the teachers are committed and determined to accompany the School, with Jaxtina English Center to complete the set goals of the course.
